This may get me thrown out of the blogosphere, but here it is: I couldn't pick Amanda Congdon out on a police lineup, and find Rocketboom a crashing bore. There. I said it.

It's my turn ... Amen, Brother Allan!

I sense a real chasm in the blogosphere between those who are trying harder than ever before to make the "revolution" come to life, and those who are more than a bit put off by the hype and gushing.

The absolute truth is that 99.9 percent of Americans have no idea whatsoever who Amanda Congdon is or what Rocketboom does. That doesn't diminish their accomplishments ... just puts 'em into perspective.

Hallelujah! I thought it was just ME, Allan. I couldn't figure out what the FUSS was about Rocketboom and Amanda. I have watched the show a few times over the past year and stopped the video by about the 90-second mark each time. Actually, I find the new host much more engaging, but overall, it's still just silly stuff.

To echo John Wagner's sentiment, I'll bet that 98% of my clients don't know about Rocketboom or Amanda and don't care.

I'll echo Donna and John's sentiment, but (naturally) take it a step further. Some people need to glom onto every meme and offer their viewpoint, and some people can't read into issues but just parrot what's said out there.

Congdon was boring. Colan is funny and well-spoken, at least. There are better vlogs out there, anyway.
